Without schools no one would know anything. In schools everyone works together.

 I learned that Hines are important. Some homes can be built out of wood, or stone, or logs. Everyone needs a home.

Social Studies 14

First Jackie Robinson had to play in the Negro league, because they wouldn’t let him play in the Major leagues for Baseball. After he played a lot he was finally allowed to play for the Dodgers even though he was black. He was a very good baseball player. 

Math 16

 I am working on telling time. I know how to see if it is the beginning of an hour or if it is half way done. At the beginning of the hour its called o clock. Half way past an hour is 30 minutes.

Math 15

 I am practicing doubles. I know some of them by heart but it can be tricky. I like to use a bead counter to help me count out the doubles.

Math 14

I am practicing a lot of things in math I am practicing counting using tens sticks, and I am practicing counting using tally marks. I am also practicing adding double digit numbers. The trick is to add the ones place together first, and then the tens place together second and then you have the answer easier!

 

Science 14

 I learned that if you kill every single animal in its species new ones cannot be made. Like the dodo bird. Cats killed dodo birds nests and eggs so the dodo bird went extinct. 

SCIENCE 15

I learned that without the sun it would be cold and dark. We would die without the sun because plants need light to grow. If there was no sun we would have no food. Even other animals need to eat plants so we would have no meat to eat either 

Science 16

 I learned than a waning moon looks like its getting smaller. A waxing moon seems like its getting bigger. You can see the moon at night because the suns light is shining on it. You can’t see it during the day because the moon is on the other side of the earth so you can’t see it because its so far away.
