I have been practicing plural nouns. that means there is more than one. most nouns you just have to add an S to show that there is more than one.

 I like doing my typing. I think its fun to do it and get fast like my brothers. I'm not very fast yet but if I keep practicing I will get fast

 PLG : TELL AND WRITE TIME

I am practicing telling time on a clock. The short hand points to what hour it is and the long hand points to the minutes.

Tumbling elective

 I love my tumbling class because I am learning a lot of things I keep getting better at my cartwheels and I like using the gymnastics equipment.

 I watched a Brain Pop video about the solar system. I learned that the sun is a star, which I already knew. I also learned that Pluto is the farthest planet from the sun. That makes Pluto very cold. I could not live on Pluto. I learned that that Jupiter has a ring around it. so does Saturn. I like the solar system because I am so interested in Space and Science. I tried to think which planet was my favorite, but I like all of them, so I don't have a favorite!

Social studies submission 5

         PLG : GEOGRAPHY

I learned about Landforms. I learned that they can come in different forms like mountains hills islands and other things. I liked in the video when Moby threw a regular snowball and then a gigantic snowball. He got the snowballs from climbing Mt Everest. I also liked in the video when Moby whamed his face into a tree. he did it because he was roller skating and was rolling down a steep hill too fast. This was a good video because it was and I learned interesting things about landforms.

 PLG : Life Science

I learned about Frogs on Brain Pop jr. I learned that toads and frogs are in the same family. Something cool about frogs is that they loose their gills and then they grow lungs! I think that I like frogs because they are my color.

 PLG : Read / Listen to Various Literature

I have been listening to the audio book Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone at night time. we read 8 chapters so far. this is what I have read about. Harry Potter came to Hogwarts, but before that he never knew his parents. this is because they were killed by Voldemort. Harry Potter did not know that Voldemort killed Harry's parents because he was just a baby when they died. Nobody told him because they could not say his name, also because he was too young. he had to wait till he was 8 to get to Hogwarts. He never knew until he got the message. his Aunt and Uncle only told him when he got the letter. His Aunt and Uccle treated him like garbage. They were only nice to their son, Harrys cousin. 

When Harry got to Hogwarts, his friend Nevil got a rememberal and then Malfoy snatched it! Then Nevil called the teacher. Nevil told Mrs. McGonigal  and Nevil said "Malfoy got my rememberal". Then Malfoy quickly placed it back on the table. Then Malfoy said "I was only checking" but he wasn't! he stole it. 

I like to listen to this book at night time. my favorite thing about the book is that harry got to go to Hogwarts. I cant wait to finish this book

I learned about Halloween from a brain pop video. I learned that people bob for apples and dress up and they also shouldn't wear fully dark costumes because it will be hard to see them and they could get left and lost on the street. The first people who celebrated Halloween thought that ghosts would destroy their crops. so they brought food out to the spirits to keep them happy. The Celtic people did this.
