PLG : History

 I am learning about history of Ancient Egypt. In ancient Egypt they had rulers called Pharaohs who ruled their people. I think its funny that they loved cats because they protected them from snakes. I like cats too, but sometimes cats scratch. I think it would be fun to live in ancient Egypt and to see a pyramid.

PLG : Measure Length

I am practicing measuring length. I used a tape measure to measure different things in my house.

PLG : Writing

I practiced my writing by tracing letters and filling in the missing letters in my spelling words.

 

Social Studies Submission 1

PLG : Economics

 I watched a brain pop video and learned about needs and wants. I learned that people might want sweets but they don’t need them. People might want vegetables and they DO need them. And also kids hate vegetables. I learned that bartering is when you trade for something. I also learned that when need something its more important than what they just want. 

Science submission 1

PLG : Physical Science

 I did a science kit with my brothers about crystals. I learned that snow and ice are crystals. We looked at different kinds of crystals in the kit. My favorite ones I looked at were snow flake obsidian, fluorite, geode, and tigers eye. One cool cool fact about the geodesic they look like a regular rock on the outside but on the inside there is crystals!
